Circle of Security parent training is an 8-session individual or group program that educates parents on how they can develop better relationships with their children so their children can grow to be confident and effective adults. Learning Objectives of the Training:
• Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read the emotional needs
• Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
• Enhance the development of your child's self esteem
• Honor your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure
The program at Line of Symmetry uses Circle of Security DVD parent training modules to help you as a parent understand your child's needs so to better manage challenging behaviour without losing control or losing your child's respect and confidence in you.

When?
Group Parenting on Thursdays 9am-10:30am. These are parents only sessions, participants will have to arrange their own child care prior to the sessions. Call 3290 3183 to participate. Bookings essential.

Cost?
Individual sessions will be charged at standard rates.
Group parenting program has payment options available. You can either pay as you go for $50 per session (a Medicare rebate of $31.65 may be available for eligible participants). We accept cash, eftpos, VISA or Mastercard. All payments are to be made prior to the session or on arrival at the beginning of the session. Please note that rebates will only be processed at the end of the session once eligibility confirmed. You can also choose to pay for all eight sessions upfront which gives you a 20% discount at a cost of $320 (Medicare rebates can still apply at each session for eligible participants). For this option payment is required prior to or on arrival the first session. Costs cover all 8 sessions and take home resources.
